Evolving workplace environments on a technology campus
Bellevue, United States

Designed in collaboration with Confluence, the site is conceived as part of a larger civic campus, closely connected to its surroundings. Generous outdoor areas, including a welcoming front porch, plaza and shared green spaces, create seamless transitions between indoors and outdoors while supporting social interaction and flexible use—from informal gatherings to public events. Sustainability and quality of stay are integral to the design concept. A vegetated green roof with native plantings enhances biodiversity and visually connects the building to the landscape, while carefully designed daylighting and open spatial layouts create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Within this context, Vestre’s KINN, STRIPES and CORNER collections help to shape and activate the library environment. Thoughtfully positioned seating elements define inviting zones that encourage people to pause, connect, or simply relax. In this way, the furniture supports the overall vision of the library: a place where everyday encounters unfold naturally and where community life can thrive.
