STONES seating and planters were introduced at Eddington Square, forming part of a flexible and contemporary public realm at the heart of this growing residential neighborhood in Cambridge. Developed as part of the wider Eddington masterplan by the University of Cambridge, the square acts as a central focus for community life, surrounded by homes, local amenities, and shared facilities.

Designed to support a wide range of everyday and seasonal activities, Eddington Square functions as a multifunctional civic space where markets, events, and informal gatherings can take place alongside daily residential use. The integration of movable STONES elements allows the layout to be easily reconfigured, providing the flexibility needed to accommodate events while maintaining comfortable, informal seating for residents and visitors.
