A civic space designed for flexibility, enclosure, and everyday use
London, United Kingdom

The goal was to bring people and energy back into the area. By reorganizing space, adding places to stay, and defining clear zones, the street now functions as an activated public destination. Designed by MIG, the project connects movement, use, and social interaction within a cohesive urban framework. Elements from Vestre’s CODE series are integrated throughout the street. They help structure the space and support different forms of use, from brief pauses to social gathering. The project shows how existing downtown streets can be reimagined as vibrant and people-focused environments.
