NODE turns everyday infrastructure into a subtle moment of joy. A sculptural cycle stand that balances playfulness with purpose, bringing a softer, more expressive presence to urban mobility without compromising on safety or function.
NODE introduces a new visual language to a familiar object. Its continuous, fluid form creates a quiet sense of joy while remaining intentional and controlled. Playful, but never naive.

Designed for real-world use, NODE allows both frame and wheel to be locked securely. It supports everyday routines with clarity and reliability, proving that expressive design can still meet the highest functional standards.
NODE is made to complement contemporary environments and complete the architectural vision. It reflects a shared attention to detail, where even the smallest elements contribute to the overall experience of a space.

NODE is the first product in a new family of public objects designed to add character to a place, rather than simply occupy it. Shaped as a superellipse, NODE finds a natural balance between the clarity of a square and the softness of a circle. Its form provides broad, practical contact areas for bicycles, while the rounded geometry helps reduce the risk of damage. The result is a cycle stand that is functional, durable and friendly in its expression.

We make everything ourselves. From steel components produced in Torsby in Sweden, to woodwork, painting and assembly at The Plus in Magnor, Norway

We strive to make things as easy as possible for our end customers when they receive their furniture. That’s why we deliver all our furniture partially assembled from the factory. As the furniture arrives flat packed, there is still some assembling to be done. You can find assembly instructions for each product here.
Vestre supplies 2D and 3D models of all our products. You can get access to Revit, BIM, DWG and SketchUp by registering a user via our website here—it’s completely free.
We offer various solutions for anchoring: casting in the ground, base plate, wall mounting or free standing.
We often get asked about different anchoring methods and what solutions are most suitable. The boring answer is that there is no simple key to this. Choosing the right type of anchoring depends on how the area will be used, the type of base on which the furniture will stand and, last but not least, the condition of the ground underneath. We have therefore put together a simple guide to help you make the best choices for your project. Find it here.
Vestre offers furniture made from perforated steel and HPL as alternatives to wood. For more information about which products this applies to, you can visit the product page and filter by “Perforated”, for example. You can also contact one of our skilled salespeople to get help finding the perfect solution for your exact project.
