Our BLOC, STRIPES, APRIL and APRIL GO ranges were supplied to support the regeneration of Cardinal Place in Victoria, delivering a flexible and inviting seating offer within this revitalised public realm. Designed by BD Landscape Architects for Landsec, the scheme reimagines a key space within a busy mixed-use neighbourhood, bringing together offices, retail, dining and residential uses.

Rooted in a strong programme of community engagement, the design reflects the needs and aspirations of local users, including workers, residents and young people who contributed through a series of co-design workshops. This collaborative approach has helped shape a bold, inclusive and biophilic environment that encourages connection and everyday use.The furniture has been thoughtfully integrated to support a variety of activities, from individual moments of relaxation to informal social gatherings, enhancing the overall usability of the space. A mix of forms and seating styles creates visual interest while aligning with the scheme’s contemporary landscape language.Together, these elements contribute to a vibrant, people-focused destination that strengthens Cardinal Place’s role within Victoria and supports a more engaging and community-driven urban experience.
