Odins Lomme opened in 2009 as Copenhagen's first pocket park and formed part of the wider renewal of the Mimersgade neighbourhood in Nørrebro. Created in a former street space, the project introduced trees, planting and places to spend time in a dense urban district where publicly accessible green space is limited.

The park combines everyday recreation with practical climate adaptation. Rainwater from surrounding paved areas is directed into planted beds on the site, allowing water to infiltrate naturally. According to Thing Brandt Landscape, stormwater management was integrated into the design concept and helped shape the architectural character of the park.

APRIL benches are positioned among the planting, offering places to stop for a moment, watch the world go by, and meet up with friends. More than fifteen years after installation, the furniture continues to support daily use and remains an integral part of the park's identity.
