A civic space designed for flexibility, enclosure, and everyday use
London, United Kingdom

The cultural institution is a well-established venue for the performing arts and is shaped by a diverse and publicly accessible environment. In collaboration with Mitchell Giurgola Architects, a solution was developed that clearly structures areas for staying while allowing for flexible use. The furniture supports a range of situations — from short stays to informal interaction before and after events.Through their placement, the elements help to strengthen the connection between the outdoor space and the cultural programme. They create places for arrival, waiting, and staying, while naturally integrating into the dynamic setting of the institution.
