Structured pathways and places to stay in Waterloo Park

The park creates space for movement, interaction and time outdoors in an urban setting. Planned by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, the design places a strong emphasis on the layout of paths and their integration into the park’s topography. This creates clear connections between different areas while supporting both circulation and use.Vestre’s VIA benches follow these pathways and are positioned along the curved lines of the circulation routes. They respond to the geometry of the paths and contribute to structuring the park while providing places to stay.In combination with the landscape design, the result is a versatile outdoor space that supports everyday use and reinforces the park as an open and accessible place within the city.
