The waiting area is designed as an elevated space that expands the airport experience beyond its purely functional purpose. Passengers are offered a place to pause, relax and observe the activity on the tarmac, including planes taking off and landing.

Planned by Studio 111, the focus lies on comfort, clarity and a well-structured spatial layout. The goal is to create an environment that meets functional requirements while enhancing the quality of stay, turning the waiting area into a distinct spatial experience.Vestre’s furniture — including the KONG and STRIPES collections — helps define differentiated seating and resting zones. It enables various forms of use, from short stays to extended waiting, and supports the space as a place for relaxation and observation.
