Queens Corner is one of Herning's most recognisable landmarks. Designed by Henning Larsen, the twelve-storey building marks the transition between the city centre and Dronningens Boulevard, creating a distinct point of orientation within the urban landscape.

The rooftop terrace extends the building's architectural language beyond its footprint. STRIPES follows the rhythm and direction of the timber decking, creating a natural continuation of the architecture, while BLOC introduces a series of seating elements that help define smaller spaces across the terrace. Finished partly in Sahara powder coating, the furniture adds warmth and contrast to the material palette. Together, the elements create a cohesive outdoor environment where each component contributes to the overall composition.

According to designer Louise Stubkjær Sørensen, the exposed rooftop location required furniture with sufficient weight and stability to withstand strong winds and the durability needed for long-term outdoor use. She explains that Vestre's furniture was chosen because its "simple yet distinctive design language harmonises beautifully with the building's architectural expression", while also having "enough character not only to serve a practical purpose, but also to help define the terrace's identity and aesthetic."

Louise Stubkjær Sørensen describes the furniture as an integral part of the rooftop terrace's overall character, creating smaller spaces for relaxation and informal meetings. She notes that the terrace has become"an attractive destination for our tenants, a place where people enjoy having lunch outdoors, meeting with colleagues, or simply spending time and appreciating the outdoor environment."
