Connecting living and leisure along the riverfront

The Konradviertel in the northeast of Ingolstadt is a well-established residential neighbourhood with a direct connection to the Danube. The riverfront path is part of everyday movement and is used by residents as well as by visitors and cycling tourism along the Danube Cycle Route. It connects living and leisure and serves as an important route along the river.

Furniture from the BLOC series has been installed along the pedestrian and cycle path as well as at a playground. The yellow colour deliberately creates accents and is used repeatedly throughout the city of Ingolstadt. Along the route, the elements form a subtle line of orientation and create recognition.
