Above the former industrial buildings of Valby, this rooftop terrace transforms an otherwise underutilized area into a functional outdoor space. Designed for the employees of landscape architecture practice 1:1 Landskab, it provides a setting for daily breaks, informal meetings, and conversations away from the workplace.

The terrace builds on the raw character of the existing industrial architecture. FORUM was chosen in long configurations that help structure the relatively compact space while supporting flexible everyday use. According to 1:1 Landskab, the furniture was selected for its combination of simplicity and strong design, complementing the industrial atmosphere of the rooftop without overpowering it.

The result is a straightforward and durable outdoor environment that demonstrates how even small rooftop spaces can add value to the daily experience of a workplace.
