VROOM, BLOC, STRIPES, and FORUM furniture were specified to support the evolving placemaking strategy at MediaCity, helping to revitalize underutilized spaces and strengthen the connection between people and place. Building on an established place brand, the scheme focuses on activating the waterfront, enhancing public areas, and creating opportunities for social and entrepreneurial activity. The furniture has been carefully integrated across key locations to encourage interaction, relaxation, and flexible use throughout the day. From informal gathering spaces to more structured seating areas, the mix of ranges provides a diverse and adaptable offering that supports a wide range of users.

By reinforcing movement routes and enhancing dwell spaces, the intervention contributes to a more animated and engaging public realm. The robust, contemporary design of the furniture aligns with MediaCity’s forward-thinking identity, helping to create a cohesive, welcoming environment that supports community activity and fosters a dynamic, connected destination.
