Upgrading coastal space to support tourism and everyday use

The scheme focuses on strengthening the public realm with redesigned pedestrian areas, new seating, lighting, and landscaping — creating a more attractive, accessible, and contemporary coastal destination to support tourism. The use of BLOC seating, particularly the sun loungers, has allowed locals and tourists to mix and feel a part of this stretch of Yorkshire coastline.
