Vestre Habitats contributes to large-scale nature restoration at Ege Carpets in Herning

In collaboration with Ege Carpets Denmark, Den Danske Naturfond (the Danish Nature Fund) and Herning Municipality, ARDE will develop a nearly one million square metre protected nature area next to the Ege Carpets factory in Herning, Central Jutland. The project includes wildlife strips, the excavation of climate ponds, and methods for converting 90 hectares of land into permanent wild nature.
